Dream Wedding...

I’ve been looking at so many cute weddings ideas, that I decided to gather some up and post them. It’s kind of like an imaginary online shopping spree… but for a wedding. Seeing how I am engaged, I love how these weddings are so unique and fun. All of these ideas are from my fave wedding site 100 Layer Cake.

Invitations

I adore these invitations… they are just so cute and fun!

Guest Book

the fact that guests could write on tiny little paper birds… and pin them up is adorable!

These guest would type out their message on this vintage typewriter — to cute!

Food

I want something that makes a guest feel like they are at a family feast, especially since I want a nice small wedding. This wedding had the most laid back feeling that is exactly what I would want at my own wedding. Beer, hamburgers, and french fries for the menu please!

Cake

Love all of the details from this wedding… adore the yellow color scheme and thinking about it I really don’t want a cake, I’d much prefer a cute cupcake bar with lemonade and other tangy treats:

Decor

And for the decor… I adore the fun carnival style of this wedding:

or even bring out more of my culture with fun banners:

and definitely some cute outdoor lights:

Flowers

For flowers I adore yellow, mums are really cute too! Pretty much any yellow flowers would be great… love love yellow, it’s so bright and poppy like sunshine and sunshine reminds me of Jer.

But I would love to place them in fun vintage containers like this wedding did:

Here’s a cute diy way to make your own flowers from Whole Foods or anywhere you like.
Placeholders

I love how this wedding used these cute dolly’s as placeholders for their guests… so cute! Also love the wood stump as a centerpiece.

Favors

Since I’m really wanting an outdoors wedding… I think homemade jams would be so cute as a wedding favor. Also you could again totally diy it yourself — here’s a nice post with great instructions on how.

Attire

For a dress and Jer’s tux, I would love something vintage and fun looking like this wedding. Love love love that the bridesmaids have a cute printed dress that was made by the bride and her mom, and not the regular solid color dress that you see so often. Also the groomsmen have adorable ribbon boutonnieres that you could diy yourself and both groom and groomsmen attire was under $75 bucks from Urban Outfitters:

That dress paired with some cute yellow shoes…

Their are just so many cute ideas out there. I would love to diy as much as possible to keep on a budget. Most of all I want something fun and not stuffy and formal. Here is another great wedding site too if you want to see even more great weddings: Brooklyn Bride
